Rods do get broken, and actively fished rods may see the day when a restoration is warranted. Even badly abused rods can sometimes be given a new lease on life.

In addition to building my own rods, I also do repairs and restorations on classic bamboo rods. I have, over time, accumulated an inventory of original components from Payne, F.E. Thomas, Leonard, Granger, Heddon and other makers, and can usually restore a rod to its original condition.

Repairs and restorations are done as rod-building allows. Please contact me to discuss particular rods. All work is done after evaluating the rod and your acceptance of an estimate.
